So this gadget does what it says on the box. It's up to speed with all the modern power protocols and yeah, it actually charges up to 100W. Pretty nifty for something so compact. It's got a bit of heft to it. It feels solid. It gives off a bit of a retro vibe, but that's just about looks – doesn't change with how well it works. All in all, I'd say it's a solid purchase.

I purchased TheUrbanGeek P100 charger recently and here are my initial thoughts:
**What I Love:**

This will now serve as the actual charger I use for my laptop when I travel for several reasons. The first is it is much lighter and smaller than the originally one I'm currently use for my MacBook. My pictures show the difference in size and it weighs in at less than half a pound (7 oz to be exact). While my current charger provides 96W of power, this gives 100W if you use only one of the ports. But unlike my existing charger, it comes with 3 USB-C and a USB-A charger which I can use to charge my other devices. The GaN 3 chip will provides the smarts to prevent overheating and current spikes. The price is competitive - so I would recommend this to my friends.

Let me preface by saying I have two other similar power adapters produced by a large company, the common ones that come up when searching for these. Been using GaN adapters since I discovered them. So, this is the third adapter I have, and as such I can compare it to others.
When ordering I expected this to be the size of the old MacBook power adapter, I am delighted to see it is a fair bit smaller, noticeably smaller than I had expected, especially for 100W! The image that contains a second adapter, that one is 65W. This one is small in two of three dimensions. Slightly taller, but shorter and thinner.
As for charging, I'm impressed. I hooked up two phones, AirPods Pro Gen 2, and my LG Gram 1260p (65W draw) to this device and it didn't complain at all, charging the laptop and phones still at a rapid pace, AirPods as well but I can't tell the charge speed on those. It gets no warmer than any other GaN adapter I've used, I was surprised.
At this point I'm replacing the previous adapter I had been using (the second in the images) and running this full-time at my desk. Should anything change in my opinion, I will update this review to reflect that.
At the price, this thing is a steal!

The Urban Geek is known for thoughtful design. This has everything most people would want in a multiport charger … except a simple instruction sheet. Otherwise it scores 4.6 out of 5.
• Features – Excellent (5): All ports are labeled, although determining optimal power distribution configuration when charging several devices concurrently is not intuitive (instruction sheet would be nice). Nice touch: blue “power on” LED topside light.
• Performance – Very Good (4): In my tests it achieved 15% - 20% faster charging than an OEM charger.
• Packaging and Documentation – Very Good (4): Simple, minimalist, EZ-to-Open packaging. Sadly, no instructions which would come in handy to determine power distribution configs.
• Durability – Excellent (5): Doesn’t break or crack when dropped from 5 feet on wood floor.
• Design – Excellent (5): Sleek, minimalist, more compact than comparable multiport chargers.

It’s very compact, can be used worldwide with adapter as it has 110v -240v input. Sturdy and Light weight and replaces the need to carry 4 separate chargers.

A while back I replaced the receptacles above my desk in my kitchen with receptacles with 2- USB ports. But as we add more and more devices to our lives I found this just wasn't enough with iPhones, iPads, watches, and various other electronic gizmos. So I now have this fast charge adapter to add additional capacity to charge many devices at once, it includes 3- USB-C ports and 1 USB. Being 100w it can easily charge my 2023 16" Macbook Pro, but works equally well on smaller devices. It does claim to be a fast charger, but I have not timed it to make a more scientific comparison. However, it does seem like devices charged a bit faster than they normally would. There have been no weird issues, or devices that refused to charge on this charger.
